Il trattamento dei giovani adulti all’interno delle strutture penitenziarie minorili, in seguito all’emanazione del D.L. 92/14 convertito in legge nel mese di agosto dello stesso anno, impone una riflessione e un’analisi sulle opportune modalita trattamentali non solo per i soggetti minorenni ma anche per giovani adulti tra i 18 e i 25 anni. General MedicineThe young adult treatment within juvenile penitentiary facilities following the Decree Law No. D.L. 92/14 converted into law in August of the same year requires us to reflect and analyse on the appropriate treatments not only for minors but also for those between 18 and 25 years of age. Reviewing the necessity to respond adequately to a new type of category in the main commitment of a prison worker who needs special training to acquire specific competence and to create suitable treatment paths. Effects of prison work programmes on the employability of ex-prisoners

This paper presents the results of a study that links information from the prison system with information from the Spanish Social Security System in order to study the employability of former inmates of prisons in Catalonia, Spain. Few studies of this type have been carried out in the world and this is the first in Spain. The results show that 43.6 percent of ex-prisoners find a job after serving their sentence, but their integration in the labour market tends to be fragile, confirming that it is a very vulnerable group.
